Just finished Garden Row by Ties that Bind.  Love the wayit can go in either direction.  Wool applique is so much easier that needle turn applique.  Last night I got out some of  my needle turn and realized that I really do prefer wool applique to cotton.   All of the flower pieces were from my scrap bag.  Check out the store for a great buy on scraps to increase your stash.  A full 32 ounces of scrapes for $21.95.  This is a great buy, trying to clean out my sewing room.

Just got Winter Wonderland back from Leisa, she did a great job as usual.  Can't wait to get the binding on it.  Norma Whaley did a great job with this pattern.

So sorry for the delay in announcing the winner of the giveaway.  Was out of town on vacation last week, came back to a  busy last few days with meetings at my new school.  I really enjoyed reading all of the wonderful comments from people all over about thier favorite type of handwork.  The winner is Loris Mills, from the Luckypup Quilter.  Send me your mailing address and I will get your book and wool in the mail.

My goal is starting trying to blog everyday (hopefully).  Check back to see what other great giveways I will have.
